Elevate Your Game Indoors
Johns Island, SC has no shortage of ways to spend a free afternoon or night out. Between the beaches, golf courses, restaurants, breweries, live music, and outdoor recreation, finding something to do is rarely the problem. The harder part can be finding an activity that works for everyone in the group, especially when the weather refuses to cooperate. That's part of what has made indoor entertainment venues an increasingly appealing option around the Lowcountry.
So where do you go when you want a fun night out that offers a little more than dinner and drinks? That's where The Bunker stands out. Located in Mount Pleasant, this indoor entertainment venue gives groups plenty of ways to play, compete, and unwind in one place, without having to break the bank or get dressed up for a fancy dinner.
The Bunker CHS is the kind of place that makes figuring out what to do tonight a whole lot easier. Located in Mount Pleasant, it brings several different ways to play, compete, and hang out together under one roof. You can tee it up on a GOLFZON indoor golf simulator in Johns Island, SC, test your aim with axe throwing or AR darts, grab a drink from the self-serve taps, or bounce between activities depending on what everyone in your group is in the mood for.
It works just as well for a casual night out with friends as it does for date night, a little friendly competition after work, or an afternoon when Johns Island's heat or rain makes being outside less appealing. And because there's more than one thing to do, nobody has to be a serious golfer, dart player, or axe-throwing expert to have a good time. Beginners can jump in right alongside regulars, and experts are welcome, too. We even have tournaments and league play!
The Bunker is also set up for groups and private events, making it an option for birthdays, company get-togethers, celebrations, and other occasions when you want to do something a little more interactive than simply sitting around a table. Best of all, you don't always need to have the whole night planned in advance. Walk-ins are welcome, so sometimes the best plan is simply showing up and seeing where the competition takes you.
If you've never played indoor golf before, there's really not much of a learning curve. The Bunker keeps the experience pretty simple, whether you're stopping in to work on your swing or bringing a group for a few hours of friendly competition.
Start with the people you want to play with. The Bunker's GOLFZON simulators can accommodate groups of up to six players, so they work just as well for a couple of golfers squeezing in a round as they do for a group night out.
Walk-ins are welcome, but remember, our golf simulator gets very popular on weekends. If you have to wait, pass the time by enjoying some brews and bites. More on that soon.
The Bunker recommends arriving about 15 minutes before your reservation so you have time to check in, open a tab, and get comfortable before you start playing.
Bringing your own clubs is always an option, but you don't have to haul your golf bag with you just to give indoor golf a try. Rental clubs are available at The Bunker as well.
This is where The Bunker's indoor golf experience starts to feel a lot different from simply hitting balls into a screen.
Its GOLFZON TwoVision NX simulator technology lets players choose from hundreds of golf courses while recreating much more of the actual golf experience. The system includes automatic teeing, real-time swing analysis, weight-shift sensors, and a five-segment moving floor that can change the lie beneath your feet.
You can play a casual round with friends, practice specific parts of your game, or use the simulator data to take a closer look at your swing. That makes it approachable for someone who rarely picks up a club while still giving serious golfers plenty to dig into.
Once everything is set, it's time to swing.
The simulator tracks your shots and recreates the results on screen, while GOLFZON's technology can measure details such as ball speed, peak height, and other elements of your shot. Even putting and uneven lies become part of the experience rather than something you simply skip over indoors.
And because you're playing inside, Johns Island's heat, afternoon thunderstorms, or colder winter days don't have much say in whether you get to play.
You also don't have to spend the whole visit golfing. When you're ready for a break, The Bunker has interactive darts, axe throwing, and a 21-tap self-pour wall featuring craft beer, cider, wine and other options, making it easy to turn a simulator reservation into a full night out.
There's a reason why The Bunker is one of the most popular choices for indoor entertainment in Johns Island, SC. Our golf simulator is usually considered our main attraction - but you'd be missing out if you didn't try our axe throwing and interactive dart games, too.
The Bunker's GOLFZON TwoVision NX simulators go well beyond simply hitting a ball at a screen. The technology is designed to recreate more of the real golf experience, from changing lies and putting to swing feedback and course conditions.
With five simulators available, golfers can practice, compete, or play a full round indoors no matter what the Johns Island, SC weather is doing.

Whether you play darts all the time or haven't thrown one in years, it's easy to jump in and start playing.
You still get the feel of throwing a real dart at a real board. But at the Bunker, our axe-throwing technology takes care of the rest. The system automatically tracks the score as you play, which means there's less time doing math and more time figuring out who gets bragging rights.
Each interactive dart lane can accommodate up to six players, making it an easy choice for date nights, groups of friends, birthday celebrations, corporate outings, or anyone looking for something more interactive to do around Johns Island, SC.
