Hollywood, SC has no shortage of ways to spend a free afternoon or night out. Between the beaches, golf courses, restaurants, breweries, live music, and outdoor recreation, finding something to do is rarely the problem. The harder part can be finding an activity that works for everyone in the group, especially when the weather refuses to cooperate. That's part of what has made indoor entertainment venues an increasingly appealing option around the Lowcountry.
So where do you go when you want a fun night out that offers a little more than dinner and drinks? That's where The Bunker stands out. Located in Mount Pleasant, this indoor entertainment venue gives groups plenty of ways to play, compete, and unwind in one place, without having to break the bank or get dressed up for a fancy dinner.
The Bunker CHS is the kind of place that makes figuring out what to do tonight a whole lot easier. Located in Mount Pleasant, it brings several different ways to play, compete, and hang out together under one roof. You can tee it up on a GOLFZON indoor golf simulator in Hollywood, SC, test your aim with axe throwing or AR darts, grab a drink from the self-serve taps, or bounce between activities depending on what everyone in your group is in the mood for.
It works just as well for a casual night out with friends as it does for date night, a little friendly competition after work, or an afternoon when Hollywood's heat or rain makes being outside less appealing. And because there's more than one thing to do, nobody has to be a serious golfer, dart player, or axe-throwing expert to have a good time. Beginners can jump in right alongside regulars, and experts are welcome, too. We even have tournaments and league play!
The Bunker is also set up for groups and private events, making it an option for birthdays, company get-togethers, celebrations, and other occasions when you want to do something a little more interactive than simply sitting around a table. Best of all, you don't always need to have the whole night planned in advance. Walk-ins are welcome, so sometimes the best plan is simply showing up and seeing where the competition takes you.
If you've never played indoor golf before, there's really not much of a learning curve. The Bunker keeps the experience pretty simple, whether you're stopping in to work on your swing or bringing a group for a few hours of friendly competition.
Start with the people you want to play with. The Bunker's GOLFZON simulators can accommodate groups of up to six players, so they work just as well for a couple of golfers squeezing in a round as they do for a group night out.
Walk-ins are welcome, but remember, our golf simulator gets very popular on weekends. If you have to wait, pass the time by enjoying some brews and bites. More on that soon.
The Bunker recommends arriving about 15 minutes before your reservation so you have time to check in, open a tab, and get comfortable before you start playing.
Bringing your own clubs is always an option, but you don't have to haul your golf bag with you just to give indoor golf a try. Rental clubs are available at The Bunker as well.
This is where The Bunker's indoor golf experience starts to feel a lot different from simply hitting balls into a screen.
Its GOLFZON TwoVision NX simulator technology lets players choose from hundreds of golf courses while recreating much more of the actual golf experience. The system includes automatic teeing, real-time swing analysis, weight-shift sensors, and a five-segment moving floor that can change the lie beneath your feet.
You can play a casual round with friends, practice specific parts of your game, or use the simulator data to take a closer look at your swing. That makes it approachable for someone who rarely picks up a club while still giving serious golfers plenty to dig into.
Once everything is set, it's time to swing.
The simulator tracks your shots and recreates the results on screen, while GOLFZON's technology can measure details such as ball speed, peak height, and other elements of your shot. Even putting and uneven lies become part of the experience rather than something you simply skip over indoors.
And because you're playing inside, Hollywood's heat, afternoon thunderstorms, or colder winter days don't have much say in whether you get to play.
You also don't have to spend the whole visit golfing. When you're ready for a break, The Bunker has interactive darts, axe throwing, and a 21-tap self-pour wall featuring craft beer, cider, wine and other options, making it easy to turn a simulator reservation into a full night out.
There's a reason why The Bunker is one of the most popular choices for indoor entertainment in Hollywood, SC. Our golf simulator is usually considered our main attraction - but you'd be missing out if you didn't try our axe throwing and interactive dart games, too.
The Bunker's GOLFZON TwoVision NX simulators go well beyond simply hitting a ball at a screen. The technology is designed to recreate more of the real golf experience, from changing lies and putting to swing feedback and course conditions.
With five simulators available, golfers can practice, compete, or play a full round indoors no matter what the Hollywood, SC weather is doing.
Looking for something with a little more edge than the usual night out? Axe throwing at The Bunker brings together friendly competition, interactive games, and just enough challenge to keep things interesting.
The Bunker features 10 high-tech axe-throwing lanes powered by Axcitement software, with real-time scoring and interactive targets that turn every round into more than a simple bullseye contest.
Darts at The Bunker are a little more high-tech than the board hanging in your neighborhood bar.
The Bunker's four interactive dart lanes combine real dartboards and steel-tip darts with augmented reality technology, automatic scoring, and different game modes that keep the competition moving. Whether you play darts all the time or haven't thrown one in years, it's easy to jump in and start playing.
You still get the feel of throwing a real dart at a real board. But at the Bunker, our axe-throwing technology takes care of the rest. The system automatically tracks the score as you play, which means there's less time doing math and more time figuring out who gets bragging rights.
Each interactive dart lane can accommodate up to six players, making it an easy choice for date nights, groups of friends, birthday celebrations, corporate outings, or anyone looking for something more interactive to do around Hollywood, SC. And because the games work for a range of skill levels, nobody has to be a darts expert to get competitive.
Walk-ins are welcome at The Bunker, so you can always stop by and see what's available. If playing interactive darts in Hollywood, SC is definitely part of the plan, booking online ahead of time is the best way to make sure a lane is waiting for your group. That way, all that's left to do is take aim and see who comes out on top.

One of the best parts of the self-serve setup is the freedom to try something new without committing to a full glass. Want just a small taste? Pour one. Find something you really like? Fill it up. Drinks are measured by the ounce, so you can sample your way through a few options or stick with a favorite.
Stop by the check-in counter and open a tab.
Grab your RFID wristband.
Head over to the tap wall, choose what sounds good, scan your wristband, and start pouring.
Grab your drink and get back to the games.
You don't have to put the competition on hold when hunger hits, either. The Bunker lets guests order food directly from their phones while they play, making it easy to keep the golf, darts, or axe throwing going without turning the night into a dinner break. Boneless wings and pimento cheese dip, anyone?
The self-pour setup fits right into the rest of The Bunker experience. Play a round of indoor golf, challenge your friends to darts or axe throwing, try a new drink between games, and make the night as laid-back or competitive as you want it to be.
If you visit The Bunker regularly, a membership can make more financial sense than paying the walk-in rate every time. The standard golf simulator rate is $75 per hour, so frequent players can start saving pretty quickly depending on how often they play.
A good fit for casual regulars looking for flexible savings.
Built for golfers who play more often and want complimentary hours.
The ultimate package offering maximum value and free perks.
If you only visit a few times a month, the Player's Card may be enough to lower your costs. Golfers who practice or play every week may get more value from the Caddie or Pro plans, especially once the included simulator hours are factored in.
Whether you're planning a night out with friends, looking for a new way to practice your swing, or just want to see what indoor golf in Hollywood, SC is all about, The Bunker makes it easy to get started. Contact us with your questions or to reserve one of our golf simulator bays for your party today.

HOLLYWOOD, S.C. (WCBD) – The Town of Hollywood is responding to concerns about a proposed bond connected to a legal settlement after more than 800 residents signed a petition opposing the measure.
Town leaders held a special meeting Monday evening to address the petition and provide an update on the town’s obligations under a settlement agreement stemming from a lawsuit filed by the Pederson family.
According to the town, the dispute dates back to a 2010 agreement in which the Pederson family donated nine acres of land for the construction of the current town hall and library. In exchange, the town agreed to allocate 375 sewer taps for future development on the remainder of the family’s property.
The issue remained unresolved for years until a new mayor was elected in 2019, and the Pederson family was unable to come to an agreement with the town on their taps.
After town officials determined they could not secure enough sewer taps to meet the terms of the agreement, the matter ended up in court. The Pederson family sued the town in 2018.
After Mayor Chardale Murray was elected in 2023, the town reviewed the matter and determined it was not able to get enough sewer taps to satisfy the agreement.
Earlier this year, Town Council unanimously approved a settlement agreement that requires the town to purchase 167 acres of Pederson family property for $2.9 million.
To fund the purchase, the town sought financing through a $3 million loan. Town officials said South Carolina law requires a general obligation bond as security for debt of that size.
In a statement, the town said the bond serves as a guarantee to the lending institution and would only affect taxpayers if Hollywood was unable to make its debt payments and defaulted on the loan.
“The town reiterates securing the bond does not automatically increase property taxes,” officials said.
Town leaders also pushed back on what they described as misinformation circulating in the community regarding the financial impact of the bond.
According to the statement, some residents were told property taxes would increase by $200 if the bond were approved. Town officials called that claim “misleading” and “false.” The town also said some signatures on the petition did not meet residency requirements and that several residents have since withdrawn their objections.
The settlement timeline has since become more complicated. The town said the deadline to complete the agreement has passed, and the case was scheduled to return to trial after exceeding a 60-day extension granted in April 2026.
Officials said a continuance has been requested and that the town has been advised an amended complaint could increase Hollywood’s potential liability and possibly void the settlement agreement altogether.
The Town of Hollywood said it will continue updating residents as the legal matter moves forward.
